LOCATION:  

Allison is located along the White River at the junctions of Highways 5, 9, & 14. It is 5.9 miles north of Mountain View.       

COURSE:  

Out and back on 15 miles of trail and 1 mile of pavement. 

Two water crossings at approximately 2 miles and 30 miles.  

LIMIT:

250 runners

AWARDS:  

Overall male and female.  Finishers award for 50k.                    

ENTRY FEE

$45 by February 1, 2006, $60 thereafter.

Do not mail after 2-10-06 as we will not be available for mail pickup.  Bring application and fee with you and sign-up on Friday.  

NO REFUNDS & NO DAY OF RACE SIGNUP.

T- SHIRTS: 

All entries received by February 1, 2006 will receive a shirt.

WEATHER:

In February, Arkansas’ weather can be freezing or in the 70’s.  Be prepared for any weather conditions and dress accordingly.

MARKINGS:   

This course is a well-traveled hiking trail & is marked with silver triangles and brown plastic posts.  We will not place additional markings on the trail.  However, we will use tape to mark aid stations and use flour to mark areas where the trail enters and leaves roads.

  AID:  

You will need to carry a water bottle.  Aid stations will be approximately five miles apart.  There will be a total of 5 aid stations.  We will provide water, Gatorade, coke and some food items. NO DROP BAGS, PLEASE.

CUT OFF: 

9 hours. This is strictly enforced.  The finish line closes at 4:00 P.M.
