Attention--Detour!!!

Due to road construction on Hwy 324 between Camp Ouachita and Lake Sylvia, it is likely that an alternate route will be required to get to the Ouachita Trail parking lot at Lake Sylvia.  From Williams Junction, follow Hwy 9 south approximately three miles to Winona Scenic Drive (FSR 132).  Follow FSR 132 about four miles and go right on FSR 152, follow 1.5 miles to the Ouachita Trail access parking lot.

To get there: Take Hwy 324 off of Hwy 9, approximately 9 miles South of Perryville.  Go about 4 miles to the entrance to Lake Sylvia, then about a quarter mile past it to the parking lot.  Water will be available every 4 to 5 miles.  You are encouraged to carry a water bottle and any snacks you want.  For more information, contact The Catsmacker.
